Alwaleed Foundation Renovates & Converts the House of Ghazi Al Gosaibi in Bahrain to a Museum

Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation-Global (Registered in Lebanon), that is chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, buys and renovates the House of the late Ghazi Al Gosaibi, to enrich the culture and heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In coordination with the Ministry of culture in Bahrain led by HE Sheikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the board of Trustees of Shaikh Ebrahim Center for Culture & Research, The Alwaleed Foundation is sponsoring the renovation of the House of Ghazi Al Gosaibi, in Manama to preserve his work and perpetuate his memorial.

The Culture & National Heritage sector adopts the principle of cultural openness to support the Bahraini cultural movement via its museums and it’s cultural and heritage events, both essential components of culture in the Bahraini society. The sector also seeks to open new dialogue with other   cultures and create multicultural events that broaden the horizons of Bahrainis and visitors alike, which in turn promotes Bahrain on a global level as a distinct hub for cultural activity and diversity.

The Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundations are involved in a wide spectrum of humanitarian and philanthropic activities in more than 75 countries. Their main focus areas have been established around strategic initiatives, ranging from Disaster Relief and Community Development, to Women and Youth Empowerment, as well as Promoting Intercultural Understanding. HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal has been involved in philanthropy for more than three decades, both in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad and is committed to supporting humanitarian projects that directly benefit Saudi citizens, as well as citizens around the world.
