HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) and Chairman of Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP) received at his office in Riyadh, HE Mohamed Abdi Mahmoud, Ambassador of #Kenya to Saudi Arabia and an accompanying delegation.|
The meeting was also attended by Ms. Hassna Alturki, Senior Executive Manager for International Relations to HRH the Chairman, and Mr. Ahmed Altobaishi, Executive Manager, HRH’s Office.
The meeting began as the Kenyan Ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. During the meeting, the two discussed a number of issues on the economic, investment and philanthropic fronts.
Furthermore, Prince Alwaleed stressed his ongoing support for Kenya and its people through the commitments of Alwaleed Philanthropies. The AP has partnered with END Fund; to end at least one of the five-century-old diseases in 10 priority countries by 2020, UNICEF for the Measles and Rubella Free; to conduct supplementary measles campaigns in 64 focused countries, where Kenya is one of those countries, World Scout Foundation; to support the Food for Life program in Africa and Save the Children; to create 10 Humanitarian Leadership Academies worldwide, where the second center was opened in Nairobi in 2016.
