HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation Global - Registered in Lebanon, vice chaired by HH Princess Ameerah Al-Taweel received at his office in Riyadh, HE Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and an accompanying delegation. The delegation included Mr. Bilal Sasso, Chief of Protocol and Mr. Wajdi Sindi, Media Advisor. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Heba Fatani, Senior Executive Manager, Corporate Communications Department, Dr. Nahla Alanbar, Private Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman and Mr. Fahad Alofy, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman.
The meeting began as Prof. Ihsanoglu thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet him. During the meeting, Prof. Ihsanoglu touched upon Prince Alwaleed’s various donations and support to OIC Projects such as the Gaza crisis in 2008 and the famine in Somalia in 2011. Moreover, the two discussed prospects for future cooperation between Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation and the OIC.
In conclusion to the meeting, Prof. Ihsanoglu thanked Prince Alwaleed and commended him on his efforts. In response, Prince Alwaleed said he will continue to support the urgent need for humanitarian assistance through Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation.

His foundations work locally, regionally and internationally to combat poverty, strengthen interfaith and intercultural dialogue and empower women and youth.
