Prince Alwaleed Awards Saudi Football Para-Athlete Team with 41 Cars

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received on Monday, September 8th 2014, players and members of the Saudi National Team for Para Athletes, headed by Dr. Nasser Alsaleh.

Prince Alwaleed met with Mr. Alsaleh who was accompanied by the Saudi National team’s delegation. The two discussed the latest updates of the team and its achievements. The Prince stressed the need to support sports and the athletes as well as the development of clubs in Saudi Arabia and to encourage the young generation to hone its athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.

As a form of encouragement, Prince Alwaleed awarded the team members and players a total of 38 cars in addition two SUV cars for the head of the national team and for the head coach. This honor comes as Saudi Arabian team overcame South Africa in the final of the 2014 INAS World Football Championships, winning 4-2.They become the first team to win the competition three times.

In conclusion to the event, HRH Prince HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Musaad, Head of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragement to clubs and sport federations in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the team presented a trophy to Prince Alwaleed in recognition of his continued support of the sports and athletes.
