HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company visited Muscat, Sultanate of #Oman on Sunday 19thth February 2017. Prince Alwaleed was received by HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy PM. HRH was accompanied by a delegation from KHC that included Mr. Ziyad Alomair, Relations Manager, and from HRH’s Private Office Mr. Mohammed Alfaraj, Travel and External Affairs Manager.
During the meeting the Deputy PM and Prince Alwaleed discussed a number of issues and ways to further strengthen economic relations between their respective countries. Also the meeting touched upon political and social issues.
Moreover, HRH met with HE Yusuf bin Alawi, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sultan bin Salim Al-Habsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning (SCP), HE Khamis Al Jabri Chairman of the Implementation and Follow-up Support Unit and HE Abdulrahman Al-Murshidi, Executive President, State General Reserve Fund.
Upon his arrival, Prince Alwaleed was received by Yusuf bin Alawi who accompanied HRH throughout the visit.
In 2011, Prince Alwaleed visited the Sultanate of Oman and met with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy PM, and attended the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Royal Opera House of Muscat.
The Prince’s investments in Oman through KHC is in the financial sector through Citigroup and through a number of hotels in Oman.
