Prince Alwaleed Receives Outgoing Ivory Coast Ambassador

HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) received at his office HE Mr. Hamzah Salah, #Ivory_Coast Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. The meeting was attended by Dr. Samir Anabtawi, Academic Advisor to HRH the chairman and Dr. Nahlah Alanbar, Private Executive Assistant to HRH the chairman.


The meeting began as the Ambassador thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him. The two discussed economic and social issues related to their respective countries. The Ambassador also thanked the Prince for his cooperation to strengthen the bilateral economic relationship between the two countries.

In conclusion to the meeting Ambassador Salah bid Prince Alwaleed farewell as he had come to the end of his post as Ivory Coast Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. In response, Prince Alwaleed wished Mr. Salah the best on his future endeavors.

In 2006, Prince Alwaleed visited the Ivory Coast and met President Gbagbo. The two discussed new investments, hotels and His Highness's philanthropic activities in Africa. During the visit, Prince Alwaleed was bestowed the national medal by the President in recognition and acknowledgment of His Highnesses investments and humanitarian contributions to Africa.

The Prince had also visited the Ivory Coast in 2005. During that visit Prince Alwaleed was given an honorary citizenship and the key to the city of Abidjan.
